Here is the video with Pam.  She talks about her progeny.  I am so confused.  Didnt Eric tell her that it was her time to become a maker?  Is the progeny something that Pam never told Eric about?  I am not a bookie, is this from the books?  So confused as usual..

This is one of the many reasons fans get pissed with Season 3 because they knew this extra from the DVD and they were like “wtf she has a child!” lol. From what TB established Pam never left Eric’s side. She said both in season 3 and 4 that for a century they were together so basically since her turning and she’s very young, 100 years. (idk maybe they parted at some point but i doubt it).

In the books there’s no mention of a possible Pam’s progeny somewhere but this doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a child or more.

Maybe when Eric said she was ready to be a maker in Season 3 he meant “this time you’re ready to be a maker”. Everything is possible in TB lol.

edit: Or they just forgot and it wouldn’t be a surprise with TB and the writers…..

Kristin spoke about this at “Weekend of Horrors” 10/17/10. There is a difference between being a maker and just having a vamp child. Jim Parrack was the one who commented that perhaps what was meant was yes she did have a vamp child out there but she was not truly a “maker”.  Kinda like how a human has a biological child but it takes more to be a “parent”. Hope this makes sense. It did when I heard it back then. (a fan had asked about this scene). So I do think Pam already made another vamp as said in the dvd but she released the child. Eric meant she needed to step up and be a “maker” ie take a more active role.
